A scientist who has suffered with depression for years. He is obsessed with human behavior, the origin of sin, and trying to find a ‘cure’ for human wickedness. He is polite, intelligent, and intellectual.

Dr. Jekyll's alter ego who is pure evil, the embodiment of sin. He is cool, in control, intelligent, and charming. In the beginning of the show, his eeriness primarily comes from audience knowledge and not necessarily the actor’s delivery.
Vocal Range: A1-E3 (Baritone)

An aspiring investigative journalist who has been the 'Dear Abby' columnist at the Chicago Tribune until recently and hopes to find her big break soon. She is sarcastic, enthusiastic, bold, optimistic, spunky, and ambitious, while still keeping her hope in Christ.
Vocal Range: A2-E4 (Soprano)

A tired police inspector who has served in Chicago for 34 years. He has seen it all, and is now disillusioned and burnt out by the never ending crime. He is a cynical realist.
Vocal Range: C2-Eb3 (Baritone)

Dr. Jekyll's butler. He is a wise, elderly, Christian man who has served the Jekyll family since Dr. Jekyll was young.
Vocal Range: C2-Eb3 (Baritone)

Dr. Jekyll's housekeeper. She is a compassionate, insightful, Christian woman who does her best to care for Dr. Jekyll’s well-being.
Vocal Range: C3-Bb3 (Alto)

Lizzie's closest friend and assistant. He has great potential in journalism, being bright and charismatic, but is content being Lizzie's assistant, whom he has been in love with for three years.
Vocal Range: Bb1-F3 (Tenor)

 The Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago Tribune. He is a determined businessman. He is fond of Tripp, seeing the young man’s potential, but often annoyed with Lizzie and her enthusiasm. {either gender}
