Christian Musicals from The Faithful Troubadour Publications
THE FAITHFUL TROUBADOUR PUBLICATIONS is a Gospel-centered publishing ministry, specializing in writing Christian musical scripts that bring Biblical truths to life in a relatable, modern way. Our aim is to connect cast and audience to Christ through the art of musical theatre in partnership with schools, churches, and theatres around the world.
THE FAITHFUL TROUBADOUR PUBLICATIONS was started in 2016 and is based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Our mission is to partner with theatres around the world to provide them with Christ-centered,
quality musicals and resources that will enable them to grow their cast's faith and talents,
and to reach hearts with the good news of the Gospel.
Distraction-Free, High Quality Scripts
God is worthy of our best, and He calls us to do everything with excellence for His glory.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

A high quality production removes distractions and allows the cast and audience to clearly see and hear the Biblical truths in the show. We are dedicated to making sure that our shows are well-edited with seamless pacing and memorable, modern music.

Never Miss An Opportunity
We love to use comedy and drama in our shows to capture the attention of cast and audience and redirect their focus to the Gospel. Comedy and drama are excellent tools to engage and entertain, and we always want to use these tools to point people to Jesus.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20

We have an amazing opportunity in musical theatre - the undivided attention of cast and audience - and we want to be good stewards of that opportunity by making sure that everyone who experiences a musical by THE FAITHFUL TROUBADOUR PUBLICATIONS will leave having seen the kind of heart transformation that only comes from the Gospel.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
Our Writing Philosophy
PUBLICATIONS, we aim to use our gifts to make Jesus famous through the art of musical theatre. As Christians, the Gospel is everything to us, and central in every word we write.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
Romans 1:16

Musical theatre provides an extremely unique opportunity to not only reach the lost, but also to deepen the faith of believers.

Gospel-Infused, Scripture-Infused Stories
It is our goal to infuse our shows with Scripture. This means that when cast members are learning their lines and working on the music, they are memorizing the Word of God and His truths.

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 119:11

Having Gospel-infused shows also means that everyone who experiences one of our productions will hear not only Scripture, but a clear presentation of the Cross every time.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17

Relatable Characters and Themes
Characters are at the core of any story. We love to write realistic, relatable characters that the cast and audience can identify with, and who are examples of Gospel-transformation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
1 Corinthians 5:17

Our characters have a variety of struggles, showing both the darkness of sin, and the freedom in Christ: freedom from guilt, from anxiety, from loneliness, from fear. We love being able to use the arts to reach hearts, and to point to Christ as the source of hope, comfort, joy, freedom, love, and salvation.

For freedom Christ has set us free.
Galatians 5:1
